Zuni artist Evette Nashboo has has hand crafted this beautiful Frog Seed Pot. Evette Nashboo used the symbol on the frog on top of the pot which symbolizes water and rain. He asks the spirits to bring abundant rain. Frog is also the fertility fetish. Women often keep a frog fetish by their bed when hoping to become pregnant. Frogs and tadpoles represent to cycle of life.
This pot is a representation of a seed pot which was used to store seed though the cold winters.
